Autumn always seems to appear suddenly.  Even when the days are still warm here in sunny California, a change in the light and a certain smell in the air ushers in the change in season. It begins the coming end of another year.  Pumpkins begin to appear everywhere and the drop in temperature beckons us to wrap up in warmer layers.  It’s a time for a whole new cooking scene.  In Spring and Summer, getting the best and true flavors means less cooking.  With Autumn, savory root vegetable and squash flavors must be coaxed out with slow cooking and roasting.  Slow cooked meats fill the air with memories of holidays and family dinners.  Come join us and share our journey into another autumn season.

Plate & Bottle is BACK!!  Covid has been a challenge for us all, but now it’s time to reconnect with friends and community in a responsible way.  Please join us for our first Private Residence Supper Club Series event since 2020.  Join us on Saturday, Nov. 05, for an outdoor Fall Pop UP Supper Club dinner event.  Due to Covid safety, our dinner will be held outside with heaters and blankets as necessary.  Come sit down with us for carefully crafted dishes and great conversation… 

At Plate & Bottle, food is a story to be told, a conversation to be had, a feeling to be shared.  It can inspire us and transport us to places where memories live, or take us to a place we have never been before.  In a world where time rushes forward, it is a means of capturing a moment and savoring the now.  Food is a language to be listened to.  We hope our food speaks to you.

Chef Hedy Nochimson is proprietor of Plate & Bottle Supper Club/Catering.  Chef Hedy celebrates flavor, intensity, and balance in her menus.  She has trained under several lauded bay area chefs and is committed to the highest standards in quality ingredients.
